Spartan carries your first line of defence in an emergency situation including Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB), Personnal Locator Beacons (PLB) and Search And Rescue Transponders (SART). When these units are activated, they send a coded signal to search and rescue with your position .
